THE VENT! IS IN PRODUCTION!!!!

Hey You!

So after a year and a half of developing this show with my young and studly writing partner Charlie Smith, The VENT! has finally started shooting.  So what if we didn't actually have all of our financing in place?  We were ready CREATIVELY so off we went! LOL.  Those of you on Facebook can find us at The VENT (type it just like that or go to my FB page and I'll invite you).  I'm posting a couple of pictures from last week's shoot of the XvY segment (our in house "experts" venting on each episodes topic du jour.  Stay tuned for more updates and pics and get ready to VENT YOUR FACE OFF.  That's where we ask YOU to send us your webvents on each episode's topic.  I'll be posting more pics and info as we keep shooting.   Below is the crew with the hilarious Shoshana Sperling  post-vental and  Toronto Star TV  colimnist Rob Salem.  There's a lot of "cupping" going on  in these shots.  WTF?

Hey All!

Just a quick note to say Happy New Year and thank you to all of those who attended my year end show Because I Said So 2008: The Year in Revile!  I really appreciate all of you who came out on a freezing ass night to be a part of the audience.  Anyone who was there and wants a copy of the video, just write me and I'll send one to you for the cost of shipping - which is of course a thousand dollars.  (Hey, if it's good enough for the diet pill people...)  Seriously though, they are available for sale and if you were there and want one I really will send it to you for cheap.  Not that that makes me cheap.

ANYWAY, thanks to you all and here's a picture of Dan the dog relaxing on the couch as a reminder of how lucky our pets have it and maybe to help coax those of you in the Toronto area into going to the fundraiser I'm hosting on January 24th to help stop stamp out puppy mills.

So it's that time of year ALREADY, although I'm not sure where the year went but it sure did go, still it's time for my annual year-ender:  Because I Said So 2008™:  The Year in Revile tapes December 5th, 2008 at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre,    12 Alexander Street, Toronto.  Shows are at 7pm and 8:30pm and tix are FREE! (Donations to Buddies if you can when you get there). Wow. Wow. Wow.  What can I say?  I really thought they were gonna steal it and then, wow, they actually got  their butts kicked.  Of course there's that one little thing that nags at me...
